We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinical Research Assistant. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our clinical research efforts, supporting the planning, execution, and documentation of clinical trials and studies.

***** Candidates must have daytime availability Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.******

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws
  • Perform vitals, EKG’s and other study procedures as directed by Study Coordinator
  • Work with vendors to order supplies and set up local lab tests, normal ranges, and requisitions
  • Disinfect lab and exam rooms daily
  • Ensure lab certifications are up to date and regulations are followed
  • Prepare study charts based on a templates prepared by the Study Coordinator
  • Ensure charts are prepped for the next day including lab kit preparation
  • File both study charts and study files
  • Keep all study lab kits organized and in stock notifying lab technician of any supply needs based on visit schedules
  • Stock exam rooms as needed
  • Work with the Lab Manager to perform ongoing quality audits of lab

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Experience with pediatric patients required
  • Able to maintain an organized lab environment as well as appropriate documentation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Provide a comfortable and friendly environment for patients
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively to study staff
  • EKG/ECG experience preferred

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active phlebotomy certification required
  • Medical Lab Technician(MLT) preferred
  • At least 1 year phlebotomy experience required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. COVID-19 vaccination required

Wage/Salary

$19-22/ hr
