Mark has spent more than 15 years in the clinical research industry and brings a unique understanding of the site selection process and value needs of pharmaceutical sponsors. Mark was most recently the Global Head of Trial Monitoring for Novartis AG, and also previously held leadership roles at Syneos Health and IQVIA, where he developed novel approaches to clinical trial design and execution. At Novartis Mr. Scullion led a group of clinical professionals delivering over 300 clinical studies in partnership with 14,000 investigative sites across the world.

Bernard has extensive 30 years experience in the clinical research industry. Bernard began his career with Ernst & Young, where he earned his Chartered Accountancy qualification. Bernard then moved into a sales-related role as VP of Strategic Pricing and Negotiations for IQVIA, leading the commercial discussions for several large customer partnerships before joining Syneos Health. At Syneos, Bernard was the SVP, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), where he built the FP&A function.

As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Atlas Clinical Research, Raj is committed to driving the commercial strategy. His broad experience in sales, marketing, and partnerships, equips him to provide strategic leadership for Atlas’s growth objectives. Raj holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Duke University and an undergrad degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Bangalore Institute of Technology.

David brings broad project management, organizational change management, and expertise in solving complex business problems from his experiences at large CROs to small startups. He most recently led business transformation initiatives and product management at a decentralized clinical trial startup. David excels in creating solutions to enhance business profitability and revenue growth. His role capitalizes on his diverse business background and strategic acumen.

Louisa joined the company as a Marketing Manager in 2018 at the Rochester site, and currently leads Patient Access and Engagement across the Atlas network. She's responsible for developing and deploying effective strategies for patient recruitment, engagement and retention, and provides strategic vision related to the growth of of the Atlas brand. Louisa graduated from the University at Buffalo with a BA in Communications.

Barbara has over 16 years of HR experience across a variety of healthcare organizations. At Atlas, she leads People & Culture and is responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development and labor relations. Barbara holds certifications as both a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and as a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is passionate about fostering a culture of growth and inclusivity at Atlas.

Matthew Davis, MD, Family Practice, Medical Director -- Dr. Davis has been a Principal Investigator at Rochester Clinical Research for over 27 years, participating in over 1000 clinical research studies. He graduated from Dartmouth College, received his MD from the University of Rochester, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Monroe County Medical Society. Dr. Davis is dedicated to excellence and is known for prioritizing patient care and maintaining high-quality standards in research. These attributes have significantly contributed to RCR’s success and the advancement of medical knowledge across the therapeutic landscape.

Dr. Connors joined RCR after practicing internal medicine for 25 years locally. He received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Duke University. He graduated from Case Western Reserve Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. Hatti is the esteemed Principal Investigator and CEO of Suburban Research Associates with a 41-year tenure in psychiatry. A Seth G.S. Medical College alumnus, he completed his psychiatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Hatti's research expertise is marked by leading over 255 studies. His distinguished service includes presidencies in the IAPA, AAPA, PaPS, and PPS and recognition as a NAMI Exemplary Psychiatrist Award recipient.

Dr. Charles (Chip) Altman is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of patients suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioral problems associated with dementia. He has worked with adolescents, young adults, college students, middle aged persons, and the elderly. In his most recent clinical positions, he has served as Chief of Psychiatry at an historic Philadelphia hospital as well as consulting psychiatrist to a local drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation center. Dr Altman maintains a part-time private practice in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Dr. Altman’s career has spanned both clinical practice and global leadership positions within pharmaceutical, biotech, and managed care organizations. He has been actively engaged in the design, execution, and analysis of clinical research across diverse therapeutic areas and has published original findings in international medical journals. He recently served as Chief Medical Officer at Community Behavioral Health in Philadelphia and is currently an investigator at Suburban Research Associates in Media, PA, an Atlas Clinical Research site.

Dr. Altman received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completed specialty training at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital, earned an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School, and received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Princeton University.

Dr. Omer Abdullah is an Internal Medicine physician with close to 30 years of experience in clinical practice and clinical research. He is a graduate of Khyber Medical College in Pakistan. After finishing his Internal Medicine Residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York, he has practiced General Internal Medicine in small rural county clinic setting, large VA medical center in urban setting and private practice in suburban location. He has held teaching faculty appointments at Southern Illinois University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Abdullah has spent over 16 years in various leadership roles in pharmaceutical industry where he was involved in designing and conducting clinical trials across a wide range of indications and therapeutic areas. He is passionate about patient care and strongly believes that clinical trials provide an excellent opportunity for innovation leading to transformative care to improve our patients life.

Dr. Barnes is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. After graduating from the University of South Florida in Tampa with her MD, she completed her residency in Gainesville at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Barnes has been practicing medicine in Florida since 1990. She joined Suncoast Clinical Research in 2017 and has served as PI on more than 50 trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including Alzheimer’s Disease, weight loss, diabetes, migraines, hypertriglyceridemia, and many others.

Kristen Dopf, a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant with over nine years of clinical expertise, is a Clinical Research Investigator at Suburban Clinical Research. Kristen possesses skills in FDA and IRB protocols, clinical trial management, patient safety, and counseling. A Drexel Hahnemann University graduate with a master’s in health science, she brings over two decades of healthcare experience. Certified in good clinical practice, Kristen joined Suburban Research Associates in 2022, overseeing scale assessments and ensuring comprehensive study management.

Leigh Schirmer earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University in 2006. With extensive clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, and cardiology, Leigh transitioned to clinical research in early 2023, joining Rochester Clinical Research. Currently, Leigh is a fellow in the Doctorate of Medical Science program at the University of Lynchburg, with an expected graduation date in December 2024. As a principal and sub-investigator, Leigh finds immense fulfillment in advancing medical research and improving patient outcomes. Outside of work, Leigh enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active. Leigh is happily married with two daughters.

Dr.Goldstein, serves as a Principal Investigator in Gastroenterology at Rochester Clinical Research, backed by a prestigious education from Dartmouth Medical School and comprehensive post-doctoral training, including a Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Colorado. His clinical expertise is bolstered by his role as a Clinical Senior Instructor in Gastroenterology/Hepatology and his patient care work at the Gastroenterology Group of Rochester. His focus remains on innovative clinical trial leadership and advanced patient care in Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Dr. Ladrigan, Dermatology Investigator at Rochester Clinical Research (RCR). In 2012, she founded Comprehensive Dermatology of Rochester to ensure patient-first care. Her approach, shaped by personal experience as a parent to a medically complex child, emphasizes efficiency and compassion. A triple-board-certified specialist with degrees from Buffalo and residencies at Rochester, plus Pediatric Dermatology training at UCSF, she's an active participant in top medical societies, reflecting her deep commitment to dermatological excellence.
